Victory's Liberty Sweeper Line is Available in Diesel and Gasoline Configurations!

The Liberty sweeper lines offer the pickup power found only with Victory Sweepers' machines. However, when compared to Victory's innovative MarkII sweeper line, the Liberty's are more of a 'no frills' choice.

For example, Liberty machines have the standard console typically found in competitor models, and also don't have the extra-large lit toolbox and some of the other features found on the MarkII machines.

Take a look at the information on the Liberty line, below, and then we invite you to give us a call at 1-800-275-7933 to answer all your questions and provide more specific information.

All Liberty models are twin-engine sweepers with a strong feature set and outstanding power. The high dump Liberty line of air sweepers sports a 4.35 cubic yard hopper, 30" fans and a 39" hydraulic curb broom.

For long-lasting durability, the steel hopper's are powder-coated. For even longer wear, an optional stainless steel hopper is available. An available engine shroud offers both noise reduction and a 'billboard' for advertising your company.

The Liberty model sweepers are offered with Victory Sweepers' no-nonsense '12-Month Limited Warranty.' (Note: Warranty info opens up in a blank window.) The five-year, "Solid 60 Limited Warranty," an extended warranty offered on MarkI and MarkII sweeper models, is not available on Liberty sweepers.

Centrally-Located Control Console

Liberty Control Console

The Liberty's console is easy to operate, with most all sweeper functions located on the center console. By accessing the array of buttons, the operator is able to perform all standard functions necessary for sweeper operation.

Vertical Digger Curb Broom

Liberty Curb Broom

The Liberty's 39" curb broom is mounted on the left side of the sweeper as standard equipment. It is of the vertical digger-type, which allows it to really dig into curbline corners.

The curb broom is outfitted with electric tilt function, operated via in-cab controls located on the Liberty's control panel. To keep your sweeper looking sharp and the broom lasting longer, oil-tempered wire bristles are provided as standard equipment.

Direct-Drive Hydraulic System

Liberty Hydraulics

The Liberty's hydraulic system is based on a fixed displacement pump. The pump is driven directly from the auxiliary engine.

Reservoir capacity is 13-gallons, with a pump capacity of 5-gallons. The system offers a built-in 6-micron filter to trap any contaminants that might enter the system.

Impeller/Pickup System

The Liberty's sweeping power comes from a 10-bladed, backward-inclined, high pressure impeller, or fan. The impeller on the DX is 30" wide, powered by a 5-banded drive belt and with a maximum of 3050 RPM. The GX's fan is 28" wide, driven by a 4-banded belt and has a maximum RPM of 2800.

Fan construction on both models is of two abrasion-resistant grades of keyed, welded steel. For long service life, the impellers are mounted via two sealed and relubable ball bearings.

Sweeping Hood/Head

Sweeping Hood

Liberty's have a blast/suction type of sweeping hood with airflow moving from right to left (typical parking lot sweeper direction). They are Victory's exclusive, patent-pending two-piece design, which allows the possibility of replacing only the damaged portion of a hood in the event of accident. This also cuts down on any needed shipping costs.

In addition, the sweeping hoods have Victory's exclusive, patent-pending "Hoods-Up"SM feature that allows the operator to 'bump' the head up as needed by debris encountered. This saves time, allows more one-pass sweeping and virtually eliminates the bulldozing of debris. Electric controls for the "Hoods-Up"SM system are located on the in-cab control panel.

Standard hood width is 82", although an optional 90" hood is also available. Both intake and exhaust debris tubes are 10" wide. Skids are outfitted with a single row of virgin carbide.

Rear Toolbox Option

Toolbox

Liberty sweepers are available with a roomy steel toolbox, large enough to fit a backpack blower, gasoline, tools and more. Access is available on both sides of the sweeper, and the toolbox area passes through across the entire width of the sweeper body.

Victory's Liberty model sweepers are available in two different fuel configurations. The gasoline-powered GX models have a lower initial purchase price, due primarily to the lower cost of gasoline-powered chassis.

The more durable diesel engines on the DX model cost a little more initially, but typically will save you money in the long run. Take a look at the auxiliary engine information on the two machines, below.
